Shreya Qazi, born in Srinagar Kashmir, had her education in New Delhi. Under the guidance of Ms. Sunita Dhar she has been playing sitar for 6 years. She also had the privilege of learning the instrument from the maestro sitar player Padam Bhushan Pandit Debu Choudhury. She has also worked with various NGOs for serving people with special needs and has developed as a better counselor. She has first hand experience of working with clients have disabilities like Autism, Parkinson, ADDH, traumatic brain injuries, and cognitive disorders. Her main therapeutic works involves usage of Indian classical music for her clients. She is presently pursuing her master’s degree in Musical Therapy at School of Music in Michigan State University.
