Numerals
In this lesson cardinal numerals from 1 to 10 have been introduced. All the numerals have been given in the appendix.

Adjectivals as complements
The copular verb a:sun 'to be' takes adjectivals (adjectives/adjective phrases) as complements besides nominals and adverbials. There are two kinds of adjectives: (1) those which are not inflected for number and gender of the nouns they modify; and (2) those which are inflected. Adjectives like 
fall in the first category of adjectives. Following are the f.mp3s of some of the adjectives which are inflected for number and gender of the nouns they modify:


Question word  'how many'
The question word  is used for both masculine and feminine objects. is used for masculine, and  for feminine objects only. E.g.
